Chengdu-Lhasa Highway, Sichuan, China; August 5, 2019; The "Nu Jiang 72 Turns" is one of the most famous sections of the winding road along the Sichuan-Tibet Highway. The stunning sight is between the counties of Basu and Bangda. Drivers, passengers, and even thrill-seeking cyclists ascend from 3,100 meters to a breathtaking altitude of 4,658 meters to feast their eyes. Viewing the spectacular hairpin bends of the "Nu Jiang 72 Turns" from above, one can see the meandering road winding against snow-crested mountains' backdrop.
