Iceland Ring Road
The Iceland Ring Road, also known as Þjóðvegur 1, or Route 1, is a national road that runs all around the country, connecting all the major towns and cities. The Ring Road is 828 miles long (1,332 kilometers), making it the longest road in Iceland. 98% of Iceland's ring road is paved, most of it has 2 lanes but there are also some single-lane bridges.
